Incoming teacher, Logan Harden, recently joined Hughson High faculty as a special education teacher in December 2018 after Marla Woody, who taught at Hughson High for twenty years left her position.

Miss Harden went to college at Stanislaus State where she recently graduated in December and then accepted her first teaching job at Hughson.

Coming to teach at Hughson was a surprise to even Harden, but now that she is here, some of her favorite things about Hughson are “the small town vibe” and getting to know all of her students. Miss. Harden said that her first impression of Hughson High was how kind the staff and students were. One of her first experiences on campus was with Mr. Bernard, high school science teacher, when he mistook her for a student.

As far as Harden’s own classroom students, they love having her as a teacher and are enjoying her classroom teaching style. Although Harden will be teaching all subjects to her special education classes, history is the subject she prefers to teach.

“We are happy to have Mrs. Harden join the teaching staff at Hughson High,” said Debra Davis, Principal.  “She is a high energy individual who cares about kids and who will work hard to support our students.”
