This year Hughson High School is proud to be able to celebrate its annual Hoopscoming! Although the beginning of the year may have had some difficulties, in the end, HHS was able to pull through and is able to celebrate in a way reminiscent of times before the social distancing and quarantine conditions this past year has brought! Regarding the end of year celebrations Mrs. Ruelas, HHS English teacher said, “The ASB class is so excited to be able to host this event this year. We know that the year has been filled with challenges, but as a class, ASB has been focused on making this the best school year it can be. Although it is in the last few weeks of school, ASB is going to be able to have Hoopscoming, Powderpuff, Buffball, and our first rally of the year! I am really proud of the class and what they have accomplished.” Says Mrs. Ruelas when asked about the school being able to celebrate Hoopscoming as a whole.
