Hughson High’s Boys Basketball Team’s upcoming season for 2023-2024 is making very serious changes to its program. Including bringing a new coaching staff to help with the team. With a senior heavy team this year compared to last year. The Head Coach being Justin Riggs, Assistant Coach Seeley and Statistician Nate Govett. 

The Non-League season starts on November 17th at home against Big Valley Christian Varsity Boys Basketball. The last non-league game is on December 20th away at Johansen Vikings Varsity Boys Basketball. The first league game is home against Ripon Christian Varsity Boys Basketball. The last league game is away against Escalon. 

Last year’s Hughson High School varsity boys basketball overall score was 8-13 with a 0.38% chance to win. At home it was 5-5 and away was 3-8. In League their score was 3-9 they were 5th in the Trans Valley League. Highest score they got in a non-league game was 77-27 which was away to Denair High. Highest score they received in a league game was 69-60 at home against Ripon High.  Their non-League season started on December 1st at home against Turlock Christian Eagles Varsity Boys Basketball. Their last non-league game was away against Buhach Colony Basketball. 

This 2023-2034 Hughson High Varsity Boys Basketball season will be looking optimal compared to last year. The roster is now a senior heavy team and the coaches are adding a new coaching staff to give extra help with the team. Be sure to be there at every Varsity Boys Basketball home and away game. To show support and make the student section loud to cheer on the players.
