This red ribbon week, Hughson High is decorating the school grounds in red for red ribbon week. Classes participate in door decoration competitions as well as spirit dress up days. Dress up in red all of next week to show your support for being drug free. ASB and Leadership across the county participate in the Red Ribbon Week in various ways. But why do schools support red ribbon week? Well the answer is simple, they support drug free choices and being kind to your mind.

Staying drug free can help you throughout your life in more than just health. It can bring you happiness and clarity. Most people, if not all that do drugs of any kind, have higher stress levels as well as bad mental health. Drugs can damage your body and mind in ways that you may not know about. They bring damage to various organs in your body including your heart and brain. 

So be kind to your mind and support Hughson High’s Red Ribbon Week. Dress up in red and participate in activities all planned out next week.
