One of the top performers from last week was Larkin Meyer. He had 89 yards, a tackle, and a pass defended. The all-league wide receiver said, “I felt confident going into this week.” He also said, “The first half we controlled it completely.” Meyer said, “ In the second half we were able to get everyone on the team playing time.” Larkin said, “I feel like I had a pretty good game but made some mistakes and we will clean them up.” The senior said, “The team played with hard work and got the job done.”

Another one of the top players from last week’s game against Modesto christian was Alexander Villarreal. Despite it not being such a run heavy game he did break off some good runs with the carries he did have. When being asked how he felt about playing Hilmar he replied with “I feel prepared and ready and excited to play them.” He also said he felt good about last week’s game and how he did. He also talked about how good practice has been this week.
