And lastly, Heavy metal is basically an intense, powerful, and virtuosic version of rock. And also like rock, heavy metal is very heavy and electronic. The distorted electric guitars in the music of heavy metal are practically necessary in songs of heavy metal because of how much it’s in the music. Heavy metal artists include Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, and Soundgarden.
