Thursday, November 23, the fourth Thursday of the month is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a holiday best known for giving thanks and appreciation, and of course the food. A lot of people have different experiences and thoughts about Thanksgiving, such as Emily Alarcon who stated, “food is definitely the best part about Thanksgiving. I really like the mashed potatoes with bread, but only with gravy and a little bit of turkey mixed in.”

 James Bray also stated, “I’m thankful for my dog and food, I’m the most excited to eat pumpkin pie.”

 Ms. Teague, one of Hughson High’s school counselors, stated, “for Thanksgiving I’m actually going to be on vacation in Mexico, and i’m very excited for the mashed potatoes.”

 Last but not least, Aiden Standen who stated,”I absolutely love Thanksgiving, my family makes the absolute best food! My favorite Thanksgiving food is the ham and bread rolls with lots of butter.” 

Overall so many people just can’t wait for thanksgiving and the delicious food.
