Congratulations to Robert McDaniel for being HHS’s male athlete of the week! Robert is a junior on our varsity football team and he’s been a part of the varsity team since freshman year. Robert is known throughout hughson for his amazing football skills and the town of hughson enjoys to see him play weekly. Robert is known as an encouraging and motivational teammate, on and off the field. At the last football game Robert stood out by breaking the passing touchdown record.

His teammate Ernie Mendoza gave some insight on Robert as a teammate, “He is very encouraging, and always motivates the team.”

Robert at this week’s game against Colfax got player of the game. Robert is an outstanding player and always shines on the field no matter what.

Another teammate Alexander Villarreal says, “he’s a great leader and hard worker and everyday after practice he works on throwing after practice and is a great leader in the game helping us win and looking out for us.”

There are nothing but positive words for Robert. As a quarterback Robert is the definition of a Leader and he is going to keep leading us to state. Robert has always been an outstanding player from freshman year to junior, and will continue to have an amazing senior season. Congratulations Robert, can’t wait to see how you do in the playoffs.
