Hughson High School is home to many different kinds of elective classes. Some examples of the electives at Hughson High are Journalism, Photography, Spanish, Art, AP Art History, and many more. Even with all the options of elective classes in Hughson High School there are still some classes that people would like to see added to the roster.
Luke Berdion, a sophomore from Hughson High, says, “I would like a general knowledge class. In this class we would learn how to get a 401k, do our taxes, lease a house, learn about loans, and other things that we should know as adults.”
On that note Cole Prouty agrees with Luke saying, “ I think that we should have a common sense class or we can learn how to make good money as adults, how to buy houses, how to write checks, and how to cook healthy food.”
Susan Bowman, one of Hughson High’s office ladies says “I believe that the kids at this school should be able to participate in a class that teaches them about bills, taxes, and how to make money.”
Another student, Nichole Childers, said, “I would like different classes such as French or German to be able to properly communicate with people from different places around the world.”
