Last week the Hughson Huskies played Bradshaw Christian in a nail biting game. The game started off close but in the 3rd quarter Bradshaw Christian managed to get up 31 to 13. The Hughson Huskies took care of business though as their defense would only allow 1 more touchdown after that and they got an onside kick to get them another opportunity to score and they did.  After the Huskies scored for the last time to put them up 40 to 39. After a failed onside kick by Bradshaw the Huskies offense closed out the game.

The Hughson Huskies became the first ever in school history to win back to back Section championships. Now the Huskies advance to play Palma at home This Saturday coming up at 6pm for the Norcal Championship. 

A few of the top performers from the Section Championship were David Delgado, Alexander Villarreal, Robert McDaniel, and David Burns. David Delgado had a touchdown and an interception. Robert McDaniel had 3 touchdowns. Alexander had 3 touchdowns. Larkin Meyer also had a touchdown himself. David Burns also anchored the defense with 17 tackles. After a great performance, all of these players are looking to go back and capitalize on it against Palma for the Norcal Championship.
