Most people agree that their favorite time of the year is Christmas and with Christmas comes classic Christmas movies that everyone loves. Depending on how Christmas is celebrated in a home, each family will have their traditional Christmas movie that they watch. There are so many fantastic movies that you can watch during this time of the year to get you in the Christmas spirit.
James Bray is a Junior at Hughson HIgh School. Bray has previously said that Christmas is one of his favorite times of the year with all of the fun stuff that includes Christmas. James said, “My favorite Christmas movie definitely has to be Home Alone. It is one of the most famous Christmas movies out there and is just overall amazing. I love to come home from school or on the weekend and sit down and watch Home Alone because it gets me in the mood for the season and overall makes me very happy.”
Emma Holly is also a Junior at HHS who loves to be involved with Christmas traditions. Holly said, ”It’s really difficult to pick a favorite one but if I really had to I would say that my favorite one is Elf. While the movie is about Christmas and really gets you in the mood it is also very funny and entertaining to watch at any time.”
Amaris Noyce is a Senior at HHS who is on the tennis team and is involved with Band Leadership. Anyone who knows Noyce knows that her favorite time of the year is definitely Christmas and she sure does show it. Amaris said, “There is no doubt in my mind what my favorite Christmas movie is, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. It is one of the most famous Christmas movies out there and there is definitely no other movie that is like it. How The Grinch Stole Christmas brings so much joy to me and I always seem to laugh and enjoy my time watching the movie.”
Abbe Stoneham is a Junior at HHS. Stoneham also gets very excited during this time of the year. Abbe has said, “There are so many Christmas movies that are wonderful and definitely stick out but I would have to say that my favorite one is A Charlie Brown Christmas. I feel that this movie stands out a lot from the other ones because of how classic and sweet the movie is. Everytime I watch the movie I feel so happy and it reminds me of my childhood which makes me feel comfortable in a way.”
