One of the best ways to handle stress can be to remove it from the equation for a limited time to allow an individual to decompress and reignite the spark they had for whatever they once enjoyed that has since become overwhelming. Winter break is a great time to step away from the usual stresses of life and live worry free for a couple of weeks. Some great things to do outside of the house this winter can be rock climbing (Alpine Gym has climbing walls for all kinds of people and activity levels), taking a walk around the neighborhood, skiing or snowboarding, ice skating, or even a vacation! You can also do indoor activities, like board games with family and friends or watch a Christmas movie!
People can only take so much stress before they can’t anymore. Be gentle with yourself and others this season, you never know what someone else may be going through. Take time to decompress this winter and Happy Holidays!
