A few months ago in March, students from HHS got the opportunity to choose who they wanted to represent for their Associated Student Body Class. Brenda Robles, a junior at Hughson High School, got voted in as the Junior Class Treasurer. When talking about what inspired Robles to be a part of Hughson’s student leadership, she stated, “to be more involved in my school and in my community.”
When regarding pros and cons about being the Junior Class Treasurer, Robles said, “some pros would be that you get to know a lot of people, you get to learn more about the school and everything behind it. Cons maybe it can get stressful but I think it’s honestly worth it.”When discussing activities and projects that Robles is currently working on to represent her class, she commented, “right now we are planning hoops-coming and getting stuff ready;planning everything.”When talking about some things that are going to happen this year, Robles stated, “like I said before hoops-coming and we are also preparing for prom which we hope comes out really well too.”
