The Hughson boys teams started this week with a game at Linden, with both JV and Varsity pulling out a win. JV kept a good handle of the game with a final score of 49-41, and Varsity had a blowout game with a score of 64-41.

The day after, the Hughson boys teams again had an away game at Sierra. The freshman team kept a competitive game, ending with a score of 42-31. The JV team took their first loss, ending with a score of 59-36. The Varsity team gave the Sierra Timberwolves a run for their money, just falling short with a final score of 64-57.

The JV and Varsity boys are going into the Delhi tournament, starting this Thursday and ending on this Saturday. Both levels won the first round of the tournament, starting with our JV team beating the Gustine boys. The Varsity boys played Bret Harte and won 75-55.

Both levels have two more games left this weekend, the JV boys playing Grace Davis and Varsity playing Pacheco, both making their way to the championship.
