Piercings can be pretty and funky but nobody knows enough about the risks and healing care, so you will be informed of piercings that are safe, recommended ages for a certain piercing, and recommend jewelry. The first piercing’s are the 18 piercings you can get in your ears, the first one being the lobe, 2nd Lobe, Stacked Lobe, High Lobe, Low Helix, Mid Helix, Conch, Industrial, Upper Helix, Flat, Faux Rook, Forward Helix, 2nd Forward Helix, and Tragus. The ear is the most commonly place piercing and even though it’s mostly safe, the upper ear has barely any blood flow and it may get infected but the lower ear is still eligible for getting infected though not as much. After you get your ears pierced you can either buy some piercing cleanser, Rubbing Alcohol, or any safe antibiotic ointment to apply gently around your piercing twice a day and softly rotate it for a few days so your ear can adjust to the piercing more easily. If your piercing is infected you should use antibiotic cream like Neosporin or Bacitracin. Do not change your piercing jewelry if it’s a fresh piercing. If you have lower ear piercings it would take around 4-6 months to heal while piercings that are inside the ear or upper ear piercings generally take 6-12 plus months to heal. Always check your jewelry for Low-grade metals such as Nickel, Tin, Zinc, and Brass because it can cause allergic reactions and irritation to your piercing and your body can even reject the piercing. Watch out for putting any contact or pressure to your ear so it doesn’t get infected and irritated.
Now onto facial piercings; you can get an Eye piercing, Anti Eyebrow Piercing, Bridge piercing, Cheek piercing (Dimple piercing), Eyebrow piercing, Third eye piercing, Horizontal eyebrow piercing, Nostril piercing, Rhino piercing, Nasallang, Austin Bar, Septum, Septril and a High Nostril are all of the piercings you can get on your nose. Moving down to the Lip you are able to get Canine bites, Madonna piercing, Ashley Piercing, Jestrum, Dolphin Bites, Shark bites, Angel Bites, Vertical Labret, Spider Bites, Dahlia bites, Labret Piercing, and Cyber bites. Moving on to oral piercings: Tongue Piercing, Frowny, Smiley, Tongue Frenulum piercing, Middle Tongue piercing, Snake Eyes, Uvula piercing, and a Venom piercing. Lip and oral piercings are slightly more dangerous due to you being at risk for losing your lip and the jewelry rubs and hits against your teeth and can damage your gums so you have to be careful and beware the consequences. Most lip piercings are considered safe except the smiley and frowny piercing due to them hanging onto your lip frenulum and having a higher risk of tearing the frenulum and swallowing and choking on the jewelry. Most body piercings or dermals are generally considered dangerous and most piercers won’t do them until you’re either 18 or 21+. The lip piercings are pretty easy to clean with a cleanser spray or using a Q-tip and cleaning liquid to wipe around the piercing 2 times a day. Meanwhile, the oral piercings require 30 minutes of rinsing your mouth with alcohol-free mouthwash or spray the piercing with sterile saline solution with no additives after each meal and before bedtime and must clean your oral piercing three to five times a day.
