The Hughson Huskies played at Ripon Christian Knights this Wednesday, with Varsity having a final score of 71-60, with the knights pulling out a close win. The Huskies gave one of their best performances this season, just falling short with a few key shots not falling in. The JV team ended with 56-36, with the knights getting another win. The JV team is still adjusting to losing a couple key players.

The next upcoming game is this Friday against Livingston where Hughson’s hoops coming will be hosted at Huskies home.  Livingston has a record of 7-16 while our Huskies have 8-12 for Varsity. For JV Livingston they have the record of 4-14, while Hughson JV has 12-8. Freshman Livingston has a record of 1-9 and Hughson freshman has 5-11. 

Next week’s games are against Hilmar at home on 1/30, Riverbank at their home on 2/1, Ripon at home for Senior Night on 2/2. Please come to each one of the games and show support for our Hughson players. 

Hilmars Freshmen current record is 7-6 and their last game was against Riverbank with a score of 47-52. Hilmars JV was 16-5 and their score was 50-26. Lastly Hilmars Varsity score is 5-18 and their score for their last game was 46-73.  Riverbanks’ record is 16-6 for Varsity. For their JV team it is 4-12 and their Freshmen team is 3-10.  Ripon’s Varsity is 17-6, Ripon’s Highs JV is 10-10 and their Freshmen are 12-7. Ripon’s Varsity last game was with Livingston with the final score at the night being 66-37. Escalon’s record is 18-4 for their Varsity basketball team. Escalons JV’s record is 9-12 and their Freshmen’s are 2-8. Escalon’s Varsity last game was with Hilmar High School with a 71-27 score.
