The Hughson Huskies went against Ripon High School for one of their mid season soccer games. Benji said, “I think that we did a good job, we won 1-0 and put up a good fight. We scored once and tried our best to stall the time for our win. There was a lot of trash talk before and during the game so if we ever needed a win it would have to have been this one. My mindset for the game was that we needed to win and communicate better. One thing that we could have done better is taking better shots and taking our time. If we took our time with more shots then we would have scored more. We will work on this by taking more shots in practice.”

Landon Petterson said “I think that we did a good job and I think we need to communicate more on the offense, we were taking bad shots and even though we won still means that there is room for improvement.” 

Ty said, “I think that we did a really good job. We needed that win and it was really nice to have. We need to work a lot harder as a team to have a chance at winning.” 

Overall an amazing game for the Hughson Huskies.
