The San Francisco 49ers played the Detroit Lions in a nail biting game this week. As the first half ended with a score of 24-10 everyone was sure the Niners were going to lose. After a dominant second half the Niners came back and put up points and held the lions to only one touchdown in the second half. As the team had 413 total yards of offense, 258 passing yards and 155 rushing yards averaging 6.3 yards per play.
Also the 49ers had one key turnover that changed the momentum with a turnover from our defense setting up a rushing touchdown. As Christian McCaffery ran for 2 touchdowns with backup Elijah Mitchell having a touchdown as well and Brock Purdy completed a touchdown pass to breakout wide receiver Brandon Ayiuk. Ayiuk also had an absolutely crazy catch catching it off the deflection of the defender and Brandon scored within the same drive 2 plays later and has led his team in every Wide receiver category as a True wide receiver too.
Now the San Francisco 49ers will head back to the super bowl in Las Vegas and are getting a rematch of who they lost to in 2020 the Kansas City Chiefs, which the last time was a similar situation with this game but the Niners were the one who blew the lead.
