This week our Boys Hughson Basketball went up against Hilmar at home. The final score for Varsity was 72-51 this game was a key game for the Varsity team to build confidence with their back to back win with Livingston. Junior Malakai Sumter landed a sick one handed dunk this game. JV’s score at the end of their game was 71-42 and Freshman’s score was 34-57.
This Thursday there was a game at Riverbanks High School for their Senior Night game. It was a very competitive game with both teams clawing their way hoping for a victory. The game was very scrappy with barely any fouls called, and Hughson unfortunately barely came short of three points. The final score for JV was 61-60, with the Huskies pulling out a close victory.
At the end of the week will be Hughson’s Senior Night for the Boys Varsity Basketball team. Where they will be playing against Ripon’s Basketball team with their record of 20-6 and Hughson’s record of 10-12.
The Hughson’s Huskies boys basketball team’s final game of the season is on February 7th. They will go up against Escalon for their senior night, who has a record of 19-6 for Varsity, 11-13 for JV and 2-10 for Freshmen.
