A few months ago in March, students from HHS got the opportunity to choose who they wanted to represent for their Associated Student Body Class. Katelynn Loveland, a freshman at Hughson High School, got voted in as the Freshman Recorder/Public Relations Officer.
When talking about what inspired Loveland to be a part of Hughson’s student leadership, she stated, “Being able to give information out to the public and let students know what is currently going on at the school.”
When regarding pros and cons to being the Freshman Recorder/Public Relations Officer, Loveland said, “There are more pros than cons and probably the biggest con is that there is no room for procrastination. As soon as you get an assignment you have to immediately put it out.”
When discussing activities and projects that Loveland is currently working on to represent her class, she commented, “I am currently working on helping with prom as well as putting together several social media posts on our Instagram.”
When talking about things that are going to happen this year, Loveland stated, “We are looking forward to putting on more dances as well as putting out more rallies for the students to have lots of fun.”
