Congratulations to Cade Mclaughlin for being HHS’s athlete of the week! Cade is a senior on the Varsity Basketball team. Cade has been a part of Hughson’s basketball program all 4 years and we have loved seeing his growth and improvement all 4 years. This is Cade’s last year apart of Hughson’s basketball team. Nevertheless we have loved having him a part of our school and basketball team since the beginning. Cade is a tough player and always tries his hardest. Cade is a crowd favorite for basketball as he always gets the crowd going and wows us with his amazing skills at the game.
Cade is ranked in the top 39 in Sac-Joaquin Section for 1 stat, top 6 in Division 4 for 1 stat, and top 1 in Trans Valley League for 2 stats. Friend and Teammate Joey Flores says, “ he’s been averaging 20 points the past couple of games, he’s been absolutely carrying us.”
Hughson is so sad they are saying goodbye to this senior this year. We have loved having Cade a part of this school. We are so sad to say this basketball season is officially over for this senior. Great job Cade, thank you for all you’ve done for Hughson High’s basketball team!
