Love is in the air at Hughson High! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and couples are all around. Valentine’s Day is a special day for many couples! It’s a time to spread love and appreciation for your special person!

Lucy Barret and Beau Blake are one of our sweethearts here at Hughson High. Lucy said, ¨We have been together for a year and four months and we first met at a retreat for school.¨ She further continued,¨ Beau was the first one to initiate things when he snapped her.” When Lucy and Beau first met, they both had the impression of thinking the other was cute when seeing each other at school.

Another one of our sweethearts is Emily Clements and Rich Birdon. Emily and Rich have been dating for a little over 2 and a half years. When they first met, Emily’s first thought,“I honestly didn’t like him at all and I thought he was kinda mean.” Rich had the first impression, “she was weird at first.” Also according to Rich, “I initiated most of it.” Both of their first impressions definitely weren’t the most positive but as they got to know each other they got to see a better side of each other.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, couples are taking advantage of this time to show just how much they appreciate their sweetheart! Whether it be with words or gifts, each way of expressing your appreciation for your partner is just as special.
