HHS Boys Varsity Basketball celebrated their ‘Senior Night’ on February 2nd. Commemorating the following seniors, Caleb Wilson, Cade Mcaughlin, Ryan Aschwanden, David Delgado, Carter Berger, Joseph Flores, and Deagan Bell. Playing our last home game against Ripon’s Varsity team, which was a competitive and cutthroat game. The final score was 76-69, with Hughson just coming short of 7 points, leaving us with the record 3-8 in league and Ripon 10-1 in league. 

The last game for Hughson Varsity Basketball was on February 7th with Escalon. The score at the end of the night was 49-70, leaving Escalon’s record 7-4 and Hughson 3-9. As a final game for the Hughson seniors, it was an ammusing game while still being competitive. Coming from me, I very much enjoyed being a part of and being a leader on this varsity team. I feel the lessons I’ve learned and how much I’ve grown in just this year as a person will shape how I will shape me into a better person and I’m extremely grateful for everything I learned from all my coaches and teammates.
