Jones dominated the 49ers offensive line all game and it only got worse for San Francisco when their starting right guard went down with an elbow injury. Despite the loss the 49ers took on the Super Bowl both teams played well along with good calls from the refs the whole way through. The overtime period started with the niners but they could only manage to get a field goal and give the chiefs the ball back to win the game. The team had a total of 382 yards and were averaging 5.4 yards a play.Brock Purdy threw for 255 passing yards while the team had 110 rushing yards split between McCaffery and Mitchell, while Brock Purdy also threw a touchdown to Jennings while Jennings himself also threw one as well and along with many field goal kicks made by Moody and a very very controversial kick that he did miss that could have potentially won the Niners the game.
