Welcome back to Pondering Thoughts. This week’s story is going to be about Seniors and the Class of 2024 in general. This class had state championships, wrestlers going to state, and much more awards. We also had a lot of events like Homecoming, Hoopcoming, Formal, and upcoming events like Prom, and Graduation. We had school field trips going to Disneyland, Knott Berry Farms, and many colleges and universities.

First we are going to talk about the athletes of the class of 2024. Just last year our Hughson Huskies won the state championship and just missed out on it this year but making it into the playoffs each of the four years. We had wrestlers going back to back to compete for state and many of the football players winning individual awards like athlete of the week.

We had events such as Homecoming and Hoops-coming where you got to select each king, queen, prince, and princess, of each class. In the formal everyone got together, dressed to the nines and it was a nice little event. The bigger events are still to come like Prom and Graduation so stay tuned for that.

We also had many field trips that included Disneyland. There’s also a Bahamas Senior trip that a few people are going on. There were many field trips so students could see which colleges they’d like to attend, for example the MJC field trip. There’s also many Agriculture classes that have field trips like to Knotts berry Farms, Indianapolis for the Ag Expo, and many more.

As you can see, the Class of 2024 is nearing the end of their Highschool years. It could be bitter sweet for some and hard to swallow for others. We’re not done yet, however, so don’t get Senioritis just yet only 3 more months. Thanks for reading, everyone have a great week!
