The University of Southern California Trojans played against the Washington State Cougars on February 29th. The Trojans lost 72-75 in a competitive game. What hurt the Trojans the most was going 2/10 at the three-point line compared to Washington State at 10/20. The top performer for USC was Isaiah Collier, with 24 points, 2 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Trojans had an amazing defensive game with 4 blocks and 11 steals, forcing 14 turnovers.
Last Saturday the USC played UCLA a common rivalry game that was a good one. Unfortunately UCLA came out with the loss with a final score of 62 56. For field goals the Bruins were 18/54 with a 33.3 percentage.While also going 4/19 for three point throws which would be 21.1 percent. Although the bruins did way better in free throws going for 16/18 for 88.9 percent while the Trojans went for 10/20 which is 50 percent. Defensively UCLA technically did better on paper for the most part but their offense could not get it done. As the Bruins had 34 total rebounds, 11 to offense and 23 to defense with 9 assists, 3 blocks, 6 steals,15 turnovers and 19 personal fouls. Now they stand at a 14-13 record on the season
