Congratulations to Paul Wagner for being HHS’s athlete of the week! Paul is a senior on the Varsity baseball team. He has been a part of Hughson’s baseball program all 4 years and we have loved seeing his growth and improvement all 4 years. This is Paul’s last year as a part of Hughson’s baseball team. Nevertheless, we have loved having him as a part of our school and baseball team since the beginning. Paul is a tough player and always tries his hardest. Paul is a crowd favorite for baseball as he always gets the crowd going and wows us with his amazing skills.

Paul is ranked in the top 14 in Sac-Joaquin section for 1 stat, top 14 in Division I – VII for 1 stat, and top 2 in Trans Valley League for 1 stat. Paul at this week’s game got 2 for 2 a double and a single hit.

Hughson is sad they are saying goodbye to this Senior this year, but we are very excited to see how he does his last year. Great job Paul, thank you for all you’ve done for Hughson High’s baseball team and keep up the great work.
