Every year Hughson California hosts a Fruit-n-Nut festival in the downtown area that has a variety of activities. Some of these activities include ice cream making which is hosted by the Hughson FFA chapter, a kid movie theater, food stands and food trucks, performances by the Hughson High School jazz band and drumline, vast small business shops that sell clothing, jewelry, candy and many more.
The Fruit-n-Nut festival has been around for 34 years, starting off as something small but as Hughson grew, so did the festival. Many people even outside of Hughson come by to see the town of Hughson or to see the old vintage shops. Many of the original founders of this festival still fund and even attend it to this day.
This year’s Fruit-n-Nut Festival is going to start on April 27th in Downtown Hughson Saturday through Sunday. Come on down and enjoy the 34th annual Hughson Fruit n Nut Festival!
