Imagine this scenario. You are watching a movie. It’s 11:59 PM. You look at the TV as it concludes, as suddenly, it becomes 1 AM! A time change, in this case the Daylight Savings Time, can really throw off your internal clock, and ends up being an absolute pain to have to deal with waking up at the wrong time, be it too early or too late. However, I got some good ways to handle the time change so you can hopefully adapt to the clock shifting.
First off, don’t put off clock adjustments. Even the smallest reminder of what time it “Actually” is, could throw off your mental flow. When one clock says “5” and the other says “6”, procrastination might make you choose the lower number to give yourself more time mentally. As a procrastinator myself, I can safely say that this is something I would possibly do.
Second, sleep matters. Re-orienting yourself and your sleep schedule matters a lot, so try to use alarm clocks and things to wake yourself at the right time to ensure you get up at the right time.
Finally, the best way would be combining the two of the strategies! Using both to your advantage can help you adapt right back into the time of day!
