Congratulations to Presley Wells for being HHS’s athlete of the week! Presley is an amazing athlete; she in the past during the winter sport season was selected as athlete of the week. Presley is a sophomore on the girls varsity softball team. Presley is involved in volleyball, soccer and softball, she excels at all three. Presley has been an outstanding player during the start of this season, being one of the best performing on the team and she is quite the player her teammates look towards. Presley always tries her hardest and never lets down Hughson High in any sport she does. Presley was selected as player of the game against Central Valley.

Coach Chase Moorehead says, “Presley is ranked in the Top 31 in Sac-Joaquin Section for 1 stat, Top 31 in Division I – VII for 1 stat, and top 4 in Trans Valley League for 1 stat.”

Presley is an amazing student athlete by maintaining a 4.0 GPA, participating in 3 sports, and being involved in clubs. Friend and Jv player Grace Brazil says, ”Presley is an amazing athlete, and someone I look up to. I hope next year we can be on the same team because she is one of the funniest people to play with, especially being on 2 teams with her already this year.”

We’ve loved seeing the progress of Presley’s  growth at Hughson High and we can’t wait to see how she dominates these next couple of years. Congratulations Presley, keep up the amazing work.
