As the weather gets warmer and the sun stays out longer students get excited for spring break. Some students and their families like to travel and some just like to stay home. For Spring Break, Hughson High School students get the first week of April off.
Savannah Fuller is a Junior who is very involved with her school planning activities and is involved with sports. Having a heavy routine of school and sports can get very stressful and tiring, Fuller said, “I can’t wait to get a break from school and sports. Lately I have been very stressed with the amount of school work I have and my sport has made me so tired and sore. I plan on relaxing for the first couple of days of spring break and then after I feel rested enough I’m planning to hang out with some of my friends. More than anything I plan on catching up on as much sleep as I can.
Emma Holly is also a Junior who is taking very difficult AP classes this year. The amount of homework and stress that she has with the AP exams coming up is enormous. Holly also plays tennis and has had multiple matches a week. Emma said, “Spring break is really going to help me catch up on my sleep and finally get to relax. Lately school has been extremely stressful because I have AP exams coming up and I am trying to study as much as possible. My plans for spring break are to stay at home and rest. But I would also like to hang out with some friends since I haven’t been able to lately because of school and tennis. Needless to say I am very excited for spring break.”
