Today on the Weekly Outlook, we’ve got several students’ who gave us their ideas of what qualities make a good teacher. Having a teacher you love and going to their class is sometimes hard to find, but having a good teacher that you love makes school so much easier and makes it fun. Many teachers make school not fun and make people dread going to school and their class.
Edmond Flores had to say this, “I like nice teachers who are able to interact with their students and are always ready to lend a helping hand to students who need help and not get frustrated with students who need more help than others.”
Natalie Wohler and Trinity Waddell stated, “I like when a teacher doesn’t act like your parent and that is open minded and they understand our point of view and they don’t take everything so seriously and they have a good humor and they act like your friend but not weirdly.”
Blaine Smith said, “Some good qualities of a teacher is if they care for their students and they explain stuff well but they give leniency on missing assignment and stuff like that because kids in high school are busy and they have a lot on their plate and if they genuine care for their student and how they are and not just there to assign work and get paid.”
