As freshman year comes to an end there’s a lot of things to reminisce on from your first year as a high schooler. All of the fun football games under the Friday night lights, having your first formal high school dance, and all of the new friendships and memories made throughout the year! Freshman year is like a roller coaster of memories and experiences.

With the year coming to an end there’s also many things that freshmen are looking forward to in their sophomore year. There’s many more opportunities to come and more fun activities to look forward to.

Sophia Spears, a freshman said, “I’m looking forward to fall sports and football games. I’m also looking forward to taking the different classes offered.”

Sophia Brazil who is also  a freshman said, “I’m really excited for football season so I can cheer under the Friday night lights again! I’m also looking forward to Homecoming and the other dances.”

During the beginning of freshman year the funnest thing to experience was all the fun football games and the dances! Going into sophomore year it’s something that is very looked forward to. Another thing that some are looking forward to is the new classes. As a freshman there are only a number of classes offered but your sophomore year there are more things to look forward to.

Olivia Boggan said, “I’m looking forward to new classes that I can take. I’m also excited for sports and trying new things because we have a little more freedom so there’s more I can do.”

Freshman year was fun but a lot of students are ready for it to be over to start a new chapter in our lives. Starting a new year of high school is an opportunity to meet new people, try new things, and get involved more. There are more subjects open to study and just so many more things to look forward to!
