Nic Wiggs runs track for Hughson High School and is probably one of the best sophomore throwers within the school. Wiggs came into track from football as an offensive and defensive lineman. He came into track to help boost his speed, strength, and coordination. He recommends track to all types of athletes if they want to benefit their health, speed, or wellness in general. He thinks all Hughson football players should join track because of the great coaching staff and how much it has helped all the football athletes improve over time. In events he only does shot put and discus, but in practice he does all types of different events to help him maintain shape for football. He is honestly a model athlete for HHS. He believes that his best event is shot put but he is also skilled in discus. Nic Wiggs likes track because of the coaching staff and all the friends that he gets to be with and all the friends that he made through Hughson High School’s track program. Overall, Nic Wiggs is one of the best sophomore track athletes at our school.
