On April 6th NC State played Purdue and lost 63-50. Zach Edey was Purdue’s leading scorer with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Purdue had 41 rebounds to NC States 28. This is the end of NC State’s Cinderella story.
On March 30th Uconn played against Illinois. Offensively Uconn went 31/60 or 51.7 percent for field goals, 3/17 or 17.6 percent for 3 pointers, 12/17 or 70.6 percent for free throws. While also having 21 assists and 11 offensive rebounds. While defensively they had 37 defensive rebounds, 10 blocks, 5 steals, 7 turnovers and 16 fouls. This game was not too close as uConn stayed number 1 with a final score of 77-52.
