Lincoln Sousa is a football and track athlete, he is known for his speed on the track and his hands on the football field. Lincoln runs 100m, 200m, and 1 x 4 relay. Lincoln expresses “I believe track is a really good sport for anybody that is currently doing a sport like football, soccer, and tennis. It helps with stamina and speed building, it can help you be explosive with small movements and is honestly just a wonderful sport in general. It’s a really great sport to start out in because it builds the fundamentals and basics for other sports. I really enjoy the coaching staff at Hughson High School because they really see through that you learn and know what you’re doing correctly and they make sure that you stretch pop early so you don’t get injured during track.” Lincoln also speaks very highly about the coaching staff, “I enjoy the coaches because they are very thorough with what they teach you. They are very kind and they’re very supportive and understanding. I would specifically like to give a shout out to Coach Wolfley for teaching me the proper ways to run and supporting me throughout Track and football”. Lincoln Sousa is a very good up-and-coming track and football athlete.
