Prom is a memorable event in high school. It’s a big event where you get all dressed up, dance with your friends, take tons of pictures, and just have a blast. It’s like a fairytale night, for real! Everyone’s looking sharp, the music’s pumping, and it’s just a night to remember. Plus, you get to make memories that will stick with you forever. Even though prom is mainly for juniors and seniors, freshman and sophomores are able to go. As a junior or senior you might want to take some of your underclassmen friends and here at HHS you have that opportunity too.
Sophia Spears, a freshman said, “Seeing all the girls in their pretty sparkly dresses makes me so jealous! Like I can’t wait for that to be me when I’m a junior and senior.” Getting to wear a long sparkly dress and be glammed out is the dream for many girls. It’s such a fun night where you get to look gorgeous and have tons of fun!
Cienna Guillerte, another freshman said, “I can’t wait to go to prom. As an underclassmen, seeing all of the upperclassmen and how they look so happy makes me so excited to get to experience that in a few years!”
Kelsey Brower says, “Underclassmen only have like one real dance and that’s winter formal. So I can’t wait until I’m a junior and I have another fun dance to look forward to. Plus upperclassmen make it look and sound really fun”. In middle school we had small dances but nothing compared to a high school dance.
As prom is a memorable event for several upperclassmen, underclassmen can’t wait to be a part of that experience. Getting to see all of the juniors and seniors getting prepared for the event creates a longing to be an upperclassmen to experience the fun night!
