Claude Monet is one of my favorite artists because they show nature, and so many colors and light. Monet was a French painter and founder of impressionist painting. His paintings are known for their colors, brushstrokes, and the details of all his paintings. One of his most famous masterpieces is the Impression, Sunrise. This painting is known for the Impressionist movement. It illustrates many scenes that have lively colors and expressive brush strokes. Another of his paintings is the Haystack, Morning Snow Effect, where he illustrates light and atmosphere at different times of the day. It also shows his capacity to portray the types of light and weather. Another of his famous paintings is the Rouen Cathedral, where he painted the facade with lots of texture brush strokes that represent the aspect of sculpted stone and create the atmosphere and light noticeable. Lastly, The Water Lily Pond is another of his paintings that illustrate the water lilies and the surface of a pond in Monet’s gardens at Giverny. This painting shows a feeling of peacefulness and it symbolizes nature, weather, and landscape. It also captures the beauty of nature in many ways.
