The end of the school year is approaching quickly, which means it’s time to get those grades up as much as possible before report cards. For seniors, there is even less time to increase grades, as their last day of school is the 21st. Many students are scrambling to bring their grades up, however you must make sure to keep up with the assignments that are being handed to you, not just the ones that you missed.
While it’s a little late to be worried about preparing for semester grades, it is still possible to raise them. Three weeks is plenty of time to make up any missing tests you may have. Taking some extra time after school to do missing assignments can be helpful, even if it seems like a lost cause. We will be out for the summer before you know it. Right now is the time to prioritize school work and solidify your future. Try doing your homework in a new environment to prevent you from burning out!
Relaxation techniques like conscious breathing exercises and mindfulness can help with any anxiety you may feel. You can also break up your assignments into more manageable chunks to keep up with deadlines. Allow yourself time to prepare and study for finals, as those will be a fairly large grade in the gradebook. Remember that you are more than your grades and you can do this!
