Caleb Madrigal is a very important part of Hughson High School’s track program. He is very quick and mainly does the 100 m to 200 m sprints and jumping events. He really enjoys track and the coaches, he believes that it helps with multiple other sports including football, soccer, tennis.
“I believe that the coaches do a very good job teaching us how to play, how to properly run with good form and how to run very quickly. I think track is a really good score for people that are just starting sports and for athletes that are currently in another sports speed, explosion, and stamina. I enjoy track because it lets me talk to my friends in football and meet teammates and friends from other schools.”
In his opinion, “I think track is very good, especially for football. If you’re running back especially it helps you speed explosions, stamina how to keep pace and honestly is just amazing. If you’re an old Lyman it’ll help you with your footwork and speed, if you’re a wide receiver it’ll help you if you’re speeding footwork, and especially on the defense that helps you keep your hips healthy so people at the linebacker and defensive back position can stay fresh all throughout the season.”
Overall, Caleb Madrigal is a very good and important part of Hughson High School’s track team and it’s going to be amazing to see him develop over the summer in football and track.
