On Wednesday May 8th, the LA Dodgers played the Miami Marlins. The Dodgers won 3-1 in a somewhat close game. Freddie Freeman had a great game with 2 runs. Teoscar Hernandez also had a homerun. Freeman and Hernandez both had 2 Hs. Enrique Hernandez had a BB as well. The Dodgers got 2 runs in the 6th inning and the Marlins got their run in the 4th.

Wednesday, May 8th the San Francisco Giants played the Colorado Rockies at Colorado. The winner of this matchup was the San Francisco Giants and the end score was 8-6. The San Francisco Giants exploded in the 2nd inning gaining most of their points in the game from just that inning alone. The Giants scored 6 points in the second inning and 1 point in the 3rd inning, and an additional point in the 7th inning. Meanwhile the Colorado Rockies only scored 1 point in the 2nd inning, 2 points in the 5th inning, 1 point in the 6th inning, and 2 points in the 9th inning. On the Giants all the players who scored were Yastrzemski (twice), Ramos, Ahmed, Lee, Conforto, and Wade Jr. (twice). While all the players who scored on the Colorado Rockies were Doyle, Beck,Bouchard, Blackmon (twice), and Diaz. With this win this puts the Giants at 17-21 and it also puts them 4th in their division which are behind the Diamondbacks by 1 loss while they are 17-20.
