Congratulations to Beau Blake for being HHS’s athlete of the week! Beau is a Junior on the Varsity baseball team. This is Beaus first year at Hughson as he is a transfer from Turlock Christian. Nevertheless we have loved having him as a part of our school. Beau is a tough player and always tries his hardest. He also is a crowd favorite for baseball as he always gets the crowd going and wows us with his amazing skills. He is quite the baseball player and does an amazing job on the field.
Beau is ranked in the top 49 in Sac-Joaquin Section for 1 stat, top 44 in Division I – VII for 1 stat, and top 3 in Trans Valley League for 1 stat. Friend and Teammate Garret Ecker says, “Beau is one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet, and he’s always putting in the extra work and it shows the type of person he really is on and off the field.”
Hughson has loved seeing Beaus hard work and effort. We also have been loving to have Beau as a part of our school. Congratulations Beau, so excited to see how far you go next year!
