Congratulations to Grace Leedom for being HHS’s athlete of the week! Grace is a Junior on the girls Varsity Softball Team. Grace is involved in golf, basketball, and softball. Grace has been an outstanding player during this season, being one of the best performing on the team. Grace plays center field and she is absolutely amazing at it. Grace is a great leader on her team and she is a player her teammates can trust. Grace always gives her all and tries her hardest.
Grace is ranked in the top 6 in Trans Valley League for 2 stats. Grace has been nominated for player of the game against our rival Hilmar.
Grace is an amazing student athlete by maintaining above a 3.5 GPA, participating in 3 sports, and being involved in clubs. One of Grace’s best friends and teammate Presley Wells says, “Grace is one of the funniest people to be around. I enjoy playing sports with her and hanging out with her. I wouldn’t have survived softball without Grace being there to always make me laugh and enjoy wingstop with. She is so selfless and puts her all into this sport. I’m sad that next year will be our last year together. I love Grace!”
We’ve loved having Grace involved in Hughson Highs sports, and watching her grow through the years. It’s hard to say next year is her last year, but we can’t wait to see how she dominates years. Congratulations Summer, keep up the amazing work.
