As my senior year of high school comes to a close, I get this chance to reflect on this fantastic year of basketball and reporting on basketball. Our Varsity basketball team came in 5th in TVL this year. Reporting on every game every week this year gave me an excuse to watch film, seeing what I did wrong and good during every game, while still being able to write about something that I was very much interested in and passionate about. The rest of the year, when I wasn’t reporting on basketball, I was able to explore other sports, like NFL football and some baseball. When first coming into this class I was hesitant and assumed this would be my worst class by far. Overall this class was an experience I’ll take with me for the rest of my life. In this class I’ve gained a love for watching the NFL, reaffirmed my passion for playing basketball, and learned how important it is to do things asked of you, when they ask for it done.
