This week the Hughson Huskies played the Central Valley hawks. This week the Huskies took care of business and put the game away quickly. The Hawks simply did not have an answer for the huskies for the pass or run game as they could not stop either one. Through the air Quarterback Robert McDaniel had 182 yards and three touchdowns going to his receivers Malakai Sumter (54 yds), Bryce McDaniel (45 yds), Jameson Davis (37 yds), Lawson Aviles (37 yds) and Eli Wilbanks (9yds). Meanwhile on the ground the huskies rushed for 62 yards. Running back Eli Wilbanks could not be stopped as he ran for 44 yards averaging 5.5 yds per carry. Other rushers that helped the Huskies on the ground game were Cesar Ramos (7yds), Robert McDaniel (8 yds), and Isaac Romero (3yds).
This weekend the Hughson Huskies defense came out fired up at Ceres High School with no points being let up all game. Throughout the game many of the players made a very good amount of tackles. Valente Soria with a total of five tackles and Tristan Benham with a total of five tackles as well and Luke Bridwell with a total of four tackles. The Central Valley Hawks got a total of 122 yards and no points throughout all four quarters of the game. Colt Foss popped off with one interception and Eli Wilbanks with the second interception. Hughson’s defense forced a fumble of the ball and was picked by Bryce Williams for a 90 yard touchdown.
