Varsity Girls Volleyball September 10th 7 PM @ Ripon
As league arrives the Varsity Girls Volleyball team seems to be ready for the upcoming challenge. Sophomore Olivia Piazza has a lot to say about this game.” We workout every practice and do a lot of serve receive, to get us ready for game experience, we also do lots of conditioning.” The Huskies are coming off of a recent blowout win against Mariposa County and look to stay hot against one of their league rivals Ripon High school.

Flag Football Girls September 13th 6 PM @ Golden Valley
The Flag football team is coming off of two straight wins heading into mid September. Senior Grace Leedom and Peyton Avila added, “We have been implementing new plays and working hard in the heat everyday.” Even though this is an inexperienced team, they have still managed to take down last season’s division 1 semifinalists in Ceres proving how much talent they have on the roster. The team is starting to make a name for themselves and look to continue proving that they are a playoff team against Golden Valley.

Varsity Football September 13th 7 PM @ Ripon
Hughson has been dominating so far this season starting off with a strong 3-0. Even though there may have been weaker teams, they look to prove themselves this week against Ripon before the bye week hits. The team’s tackle leader Valente Soria stated that, “We have been working super hard and been taking practice very seriously week by week .” After the strong showing last week at the homecoming game they look to keep their momentum heading into league play. This is Ripon’s Homecoming game themselves so the Huskies will look to spoil it on Friday night.
