This book is a thriller and horror that follows a newly wedded couple and their process of getting their first house together, how exciting! The husband Ethan found this huge house away from everyone else and really cheap and he fell in love with it! The wife Tricia really didn’t like it and got creepy vibes from it.

As they were traveling up there a really bad snow storm hit so they had to walk the rest of the way to the house and their realtor wasn’t there and they didn’t have phone service to contact her so they just went in the house to not freeze to death. Tricia was noticing really weird things about the house showing that someone else with them that Ethan didn’t believe was really happening. The house was also previously owned by a very popular therapist that went missing and was never found five years prior so it just added to the other weird things going on.

I started and finished this book in one day, then I went to the store and bought more books from her. There had to be something in those pages because I was hooked to the story 30 pages in! I could not stop reading there was so much happening with the dual point of views of Tricia in the house, and the therapist in the past and her life. Towards the end of the book I was a little freaked out trying to figure it out.  The way that she writes was just perfect! I was hooked the whole time and I’m excited to read more books by her.
