I enter the royal palace and everything inside is a mix of royal yellow and red. It was beautiful with lots of paintings of past kings and queens of the Kingdom. Then, we enter the Throne room and I see the king and he looks like he is in his mid 40s with a scar by his eye. The priests bow down before him and I follow their example and the king asks the priests, “is this him, is this the hero who is supposed to save our kingdom?” The priests responded, “Yes, this is him, his name is John, your majesty.” He stands up on his throne and walks over to me and puts his hand on me and then tells me to stand up and walk with him, “Yes, your majesty,” I said. As I was walking with him, I admired the view of the royal palace and it looked beautiful. Orthax then asks, “You like the view John, is this your first time in a royal palace?”

I said, “Yes sir, in my old life we didn’t have any royal palace or a throne or magic for that matter. Everything here is new to me. Truth is, I didn’t really have anything in my old life but my job as a soldier in the army.” He told me, “I’m eager to learn about your skills because we need them for the war against the Demon King, Asterix.” I told him, “I don’t know how to use magic, your majesty.” He said, “that’s why my most trusted professionals in magic will help you in magic. You also need to learn our ways of combat and learn how to use a sword.” I accepted and offered him new ways to help with the demon lord’s army and I can help him create new weapons that I used to use in my old life. He said, “I will allow it, in this war we need to use everything and everyone we got.”

But first, I have to take you to your instructors who will teach you how to use a sword and magic. He said, “you will have at least 20 years to learn our ways and you can provide us with those weapons you talked about.” I asked him, “why isn’t Asterix heading here next? I might not have time to learn this in 20 years.” He told me, “when me and other Six Heroes failed against The Demon King and everyone but me died, I casted a spell that was bound to my life force and that in turn would sap my life force from me and right now I only have 20 years to live. I will die and see my wife. My wife was one of the seven heroes and I couldn’t save her or the world. I couldn’t avenge her and kill him so I had to seal him and hoped one day someone more powerful than me will stop him. That’s what makes you special John, You have an affinity for every element of magic and that is extremely rare.” He then took me to see the people who would teach me how to use magic and would teach me how to use a sword. My 20 years of training start now.
