Black Friday, a popular day in the U.S, is known for being the day that all shopping stores come out with great deals. Black Friday takes place the week of thanksgiving and is a day that many United States citizens look forward to. Family and friends usually all go shopping together, whether it’s shopping for the holiday, or shopping for fun.
Many families go shopping for their Christmas gifts during Black Friday. The deals make it cheaper for families who aren’t as privileged as others. Some parents make their children stay at home so that they can get their presents.
Liliana Wood stated, “I love Black Friday, the deals are good and my mom always goes shopping for our Christmas presents because it’s cheaper.”
Many teens love to go shopping with friends, usually for clothes or shoes. We interviewed Madison Bynum, Jossalyn Antis, and Emma Boyd, and all three of them agreed that their favorite stores to go to during Black Friday are clothing stores. Clothes are usually very expensive, so the deals guarantee you’ll be able to buy more than usual.
Matthew Ruiz stated, “During Black Friday me and my friends pull up to the mall and try to find new drippy outfits, Are favorite places to go Black Friday shopping is True Religion since you know that’s where it’s at .”
Black Friday can be really stressful, it’s either stress from long lines, too many people, or not being able to find items. It can be very hard to find a certain size during Black Friday shopping since many sell out very fast. Although Black Friday can be very chaotic, it is a very enjoyable day for many families and friends to be able to get a bunch of stuff for the holiday without spending too much money.
Mariah Ruiz said, “I love going Black Friday shopping, it is so much fun to be able to be with my family and buy stuff for half the price than usual.”
Black Friday starts on November 29th this year and many families and friends are ready to start shopping. Most families go Black Friday shopping on Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
Brody Warren stated, “On Black Friday, my mom is always gone shopping with her family, and I always wonder what gifts they got me for Christmas.”
Although Black Friday can be stressful, many families and friends are looking forward to the great deals they provide. Black Friday is a family favorite and can make many memories of shopping and spending time together.
