This week in the Section Championship game, the Hughson Huskies played against the Sutter Huskies in a nail biting game that came down to the last 14 seconds.

Through the air the Huskies had 240 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lawson Aviles (31 yards), Malakai Sumter (49 yards), Bryce Mcdaniel (111 yards, 2 touchdowns), Jamesson Davis (49 yards). Along with senior Max Mankins who had an amazing catch in the red zone on a 2 point conversion to put the Hughson Huskies up by 1 with 14 seconds left on the clock.

On the ground, the Huskies had 141 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Eli Wilbanks (71 yards), Colt Foss (4 yards, 2 touchdowns), Robert Mcdaniel (35 yards), Cesar Ramos (15 yards), and Lawson Aviles (17 yards).

This week, the Hughson Huskies faced Sutter. The Hughson Huskies defence was struggling to come out flat and let Sutter score a total of 29 points. It was a hard game but they overcame their challenges and came out with another win and still being undefeated with the Hughson Huskies record being 13-0. Max Mankins had a total of 7 tackles, Daniel Sotelo had a total of 7 tackles, and Colt Foss with a total of 6 tackles. With all that being said, the final score was 29-30 and the Hughson Huskies continue to dominate anyone that gets in their way to the state title.
